Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratch north from the upper right of the mint mark. E/W die scratch under the ear. Short die gouges in the field behind the lower back of the jacket. Horizontal V-shaped die scratch on the cheek just above the beard. Obverse Stage B: Die gouge right of the throat. Faint die scratch is seen under ear. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch through the top of the letters of URI BUS in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage B: Die gouge at the upper right of the left wheatear.
