Description

Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die scratch runs from NNW to SSE to the right of the bowtie. Numerous N/S die scratches above the date and above the RTY in LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Clashed die remnant is seen to the right of the throat. Multiple N/S die scratches in front and behind bust are much weaker or gone due to die abrasion. Reverse Stage A: First Reverse. Die scratches to the right of the E of ONE, the lower scratch ends near the top of the right wheat stalk, the higher scratch ends under the M of UNUM. Die scratch above the T of CENT running NE under the E of ONE. Reverse Stage B: Second Reverse. Die scratch inside the O of ONE running N/S. Die gouge inside the upper left of the C of CENT. Die scratch starting at the bottom of the N of UNITED running south through the O in OF and continuing to the stalk. A die scratch inside the O in OF running south and ending in the field below.
