Description
S/S South Die Markers: Obverse: Clashed dies remnant seen in the field above Lincoln’s bow tie. Strong N/S die scratches on both sides of Lincoln’s head are due to die abrasion to remove clash mark remnants. Die scratch above and to the right of Lincoln’s ear running W/E. Dot sized die chip on the right edge of the R of LIBERTY. Reverse: Dot sized die gouge the right of the last A of AMERICA near the edge of the right wheat stalk.
