S/S/S West & West Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Part of a clash is seen in the field below Lincoln’s neck above the bow tie. Multiple die scratches are seen under Lincoln’s neck. N/S die scratches behind Lincoln’s neck. Many strong die scratches on LIBERTY running N/S. Obverse Stage B: Two small die gouges under Lincoln’s eye lid. Reverse Stage A: A slanted die scratch between the U & M of UNUM. A slanted die scratch is seen above the M of UNUM. Reverse Stage B: Die scratches at the U & M of UNUM are greatly faded.
