1945 Repunched Mintmark WRPM-045

Description

P/P/P/P South, South, & East Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse is also a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1945-P 5¢ WDDO-002. A nice CW spread from a pivot near the rim at 3:00 shows on IN GOD WE TRUST. Short vertical die gouge below and between WE and TRUST. Reverse: A short die scratch running SW/NE can be found below the E in MONTICELLO.
