Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge shows at the rim at approximately 10 o’clock, well left of the I in IN. A tiny die gouge (dot) shows to the southwest of the G in GOD. A die gouge (dot) shows between the T and R in TRUST. A long die crack runs SSW from the lower left edge of the bowtie, through the buttonhole on Lincoln’s lapel. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) shows below the lower opening of the M in UNUM. A die gouge shows to the left of upper T in CENT. A large die chip shows on the lower right wheat stalk, southeast of the last S in STATES. A small die gouge (dot) shows near the lower left edge of U in UNITED. A die gouge shows on the lower left wheat stalk, left of lower O in OF.
