1944-D Repunched Mintmark WRPM-011

Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die gouge in the field, west from the upper area of the first T in TRUST. Obverse Stage B: Die crack NE from the ear that turns into a nearly oval die crack. Primary mint mark is weak on the lower area. Reverse Stage A: WNW/ESE die scratches through UN of UNITED. Reverse Stage B: Small die gouge in the field west from center of the T in CENT.
