Description

Strong Class VI extra thickness shows on EPU, both dots, both wheat ears, and both wheat stems. Die Markers: Obverse: LDS. Parallel die scratches run from SSW to NNE above the Y in LIBERTY. Parallel die scratches run from NNW to SSE to the right of the forehead and nose. Parallel die scratches run WSW from the earlobe. A strong rim to rim (pre-cud) die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: LDS. A die crack runs from the rim through the left side of the E in EPU and then SSW. A die crack runs from the rim through the left side of the 2nd U in UNUM and then SSE to the right of the upper E in ONE. A horizontal die crack runs across the top of the O in ONE. Remnants of a die clash run NNE from the top right of the N in CENT. Remnants of a die clash can be found between the lower C and E in CENT extending down to the I in UNITED. A die gouge can be found inside the lower A in STATES. A large die chip can be found on the bottom of the T in CENT. A die crack runs ESE from the lower right wheat ear to the rim well right of the lower 2nd S in STATES. Obverse:
