Description
Reverse: Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse has a minor doubled die showing as an extra eyelid NW of the main eyelid. It is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1943 1¢ WDDO-009. Strong die scratches can be found on the center of the collar just below the neck. A die crack runs from WSW to ENE through the upper forehead. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: A die gouge can be found to the right of the P in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs ENE from the upper E of AMERICA to the lower A of STATES. A short, nearly vertical die scratch can be found below the left side of the O in ONE. Obverse:
