Description

S/S Tilted Die Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die scratches run northeast from the right side of 1 in the date. A die scratch running ESE/WNW is present below the 2 in the date. A nearly horizontal die scratch is present between the E in WE and the first T in TRUST. Nearly vertical die scratches are present to the left of the lower bust. Reverse: A light concentric die scratch runs above E PLURIBUS UNUM and the top of the right wheat ear close to the rim. A die scratch runs NW/SE below the UN in UNUM. A strong die scratch runs from the left wheat stem to below the O in OF. WSW/ENE die scratches run above and around the right wheat stem.
