D/D/D Southeast & Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die scratch going East to West is seen between the I and N of IN. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs across the left side of the base of the bust. A die chip is seen above the B in VDB. Obverse Stage C: Heavier die crack over the designer’s initials with heavier die chips. Secondary mint mark SE is abraded away. Obverse Stage D: A die gouge between the rim and the bust at 6:00. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch is seen going south from the bottom of the N in UNITED to the left side of the upper O of OF. A die scratch runs NNE from the top of the N in UNITED to the bottom left of the C in CENT. Reverse Stage B: A die gouge is seen inside the upper N in UNUM. Reverse Stage C: Weak remnants at the N of UNITED. Reverse Stage D: A light die crack in the wheat grains right of the last S in STATES. Die scratch at the N of UNITED is abraded away.
