Error
Description
Moderate Class VI extra thickness shows on the outer devices. Light Class II separation lines show on the left and right wheat tips. Die Markers: Obverse: A light diagonal die scratch shows southeast of the 0 in the date. A small die gouge (dot) shows below the left edge of the R in LIBERTY. A short die scratch runs east from the upper R in TRUST. A die gouge (dot) shows to the left of the upper S in TRUST. A series of concentric die scratches run through and in front of Lincoln’s upper ear. A light horizontal die crack runs across Lincoln’s lower bust from the back of the lapel to above the VDB. A concentric die scratch runs below the truncation of Lincoln’s bust from approximately 4 to 7 o'clock. Reverse: A series of light vertical die scratches show inside the opening of the O in ONE. A light die clash line shows at the tip of the lower curve of the C in CENT. Two parallel die scratches run south from the lower right edge of the horizontal crossbar of the T in CENT.
