The PC-1c-1938-01R Cud is a cud error, a type of major die break at the rim where a piece of the die broke away, creating a raised featureless blob at the edge of the coin. This variety was discovered on the 1938 Proof Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series.
