=1922-P VAM-44 Dot Wing Edge= Discovered by Rob Joyce October 2006 44 II 1 · B2ah (Dot Wing Edge) I-2 R-5 Reverse B2ab– Small circular raised dot below edge of eagle’s right wing at top of eagle’s left leg. Comments: 1. The 1922-P VAM-44 has a small raised dot below the Eagle's wing edge. Leroy Van Allen noted that the dot was "raised pretty high. Probably due to trapped gas in metal melt."
