=1922-P VAM-2U Die Break Top Hair Strand, B2 Reverse= Discovered by Eric Justice, June 2001. 2U II 1 · B2a (Die Break Top Hair Strand) I-2 R-6 Obverse II 1– Short horizontal die break from right end of top hair strand in rays. Comments 1. Please note that the illustrated coin does not match the VAM 2U plate in the 2004 VAM update. 2. PLEASE NOTE: - The photo below is not 1922-P VAM-2U, rather 1922-P VAM-1G, a die gouge very similar in appearance to the die break found in the same area on the 1922-P VAM-2U1 and 1922-P VAM-2U2. The 1922-P VAM-1G has a B1a reverse whereas the 1922-P VAM-2U has a B2a reverse. Compare the two photos below (1st is 1922-P VAM-1G, 2nd is VAM-2U LDS for which the assignment of VAM-2U was initially given):
