Description

Discovery February 2023, Dennis Halladay IV 4 • D2a (Tripled Date and Stars, Scribble Scratches) (?) Obverse IV 4 - Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Long vertical die scratch at inner feathers of eagle's left wing. Comments: VAM 5C1 has no break in the bottom of the second S in STATES. Later die state examples with the break are listed as 1921-D VAM-5C2.
