=1921-D VAM-18 Dot Next to Arrow Head= Discovered by Laurence Galbraith, April 2005. 18 (revised) IV 1 D2i (Dot Next to Arrow Head) (189) Obverse IV 1 - Short die scratch above wheat leaf below R. Reverse D2i - Small circular raised dot next to point of middle arrow head. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg, between eagle's left wing and body and in middle of eagle's left wing. ''Die marker'' - Short diagonal die gouge from eagle's lower lip. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Another pick up point seen on some examples of this VAM is a tiny "tongue" gouge jutting out from the eagle's beak.
