Discovery June 2022, Mark Witkower III2 106 • C3a (Doubled 18-9, Doubled Profile, Die Scratches Lower Hair) (?) Obverse III2 106 - Slight doubling at bottom of 1 and 8, minor doubling at left side of upper loop of 9. Doubled along profile, most evident at nose and lips. Close quadruple to sextuple spread on stars towards rim. Strong diagonal scratches in gap in hair above 7 and also in space under designer’s initial. ''Die marker'' – three short parallel diagonal gouges in hair to left of left cotton boll.
