Discovery June 2022, Mark Kimpton/Steve Hyatt III2 94 • C3a (Doubled 18-9, Clashed Obverse n) (?) Obverse III2 94 - Clashed die with partial incuse N of In from reverse next to Liberty's neck Reverse C3a - None ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VAMs 1879-P VAM-115, 1879-P VAM-105, 1879-P VAM-105A, 1879-P VAM-105 (REWORKED), 1879-P VAM-57, 1879-P VAM-57A & 1879-P VAM-93.1 were all struck with the exact same reverse die (in the aforementioned order). # This was originally the 1879-P VAM-14A (now delisted) but in June 2022 it was discovered the underlying marriage matched the VAM 105. It is a similar, yet a different marriage, to the original 1879-P VAM-14.
