=1879 VAM-105 Doubled 18-9= Discovered by Mark Witkower, 2019. 105 III2 94 · C3a (Doubled 18-9) (193) Obverse III2 94 – Doubled 18-9 with 1 slightly below upper crossbar, 8 slightly at lower right side of upper loop with die scratches top right inside of lower loop and 9 at left outside of upper loop. '' Die markers –'' Long diagonal die polishing lines thru top of B and middle of E in LIBERTY and double vertical die polishing lines below right side of lower cotton leaf. Reverse C3a – Same die as 1879 P VAM 93 Die 1. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # VAMs 1879-P VAM-115, 1879-P VAM-105, 1879-P VAM-105A, 1879-P VAM-105 (REWORKED), 1879-P VAM-57, 1879-P VAM-57A & 1879-P VAM-93.1 were all struck with the exact same reverse die (in the aforementioned order). # There are 2 "versions" of the 1879-P VAM-105 - the EDS has all the wreath leaves connected and the LDS has several leaves disconnected from the die being reworked.
