=1878-S VAM-93 Engraved Wing Feather, Doubled Motto & 87= Discovered by Larry Briggs, July 2004. Revised 2015 - pacificwr 93 II 39 · B2w (Engraved Wing Feather, Doubled Motto & 87) (181) Obverse II 39– Slightly doubled motto letters at bottom inside towards rim with some letters slightly tripled. Doubled left 8 at top inside of upper loop and 7on right side of stem plus very slightly at top outside of 878. Left stars slightly doubled to quadrupled towards rim. Slightly doubled front of LIBERTY head band, hair edge above forehead, chin and right side of bent wheat leaf. ''Die markers -'' Single die polishing line at lower left of R in LIBERTY. Short horizontal polishing line at right end of cap ribbon. Reverse B2w– Feather engraved between eagle’s right wing and leg. R in Trust broken. D in DOLLAR doubled at top left and bottom outside.
