=1878-S VAM-75 Doubled E L-BUS, UNUM, Engraved Wing Feather= Discovered by Calvin Cherry, July 2002. 75(revised) II 31 · B2al (Doubled E L-BUS, UNUM, Engraved Wing Feather) (181) Obverse II 31– E L-BUS & UNUM letters slightly doubled at bottom inside towards rim. Left stars very slight sextupled towards rim. Chin slightly doubled. Fourth right star broken. ''Die markers:'' Comma die chip at top inside of ear & large die chip at top of Phrygian cap. Reverse B2al– Earlier die state than VAM-55 . Initial die state not over polished. After dies clashed, center of both wings slightly over polished. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 1878-S VAM 75 & 1878-S VAM-75A are the same die pair. # R in Trust is not broken.
