=1878-S VAM-63 S/S Right= Discovered by Marc Serafine, April 2001, Revised 2020. Revised to separate out different die pairs, October 2023. 63 (revised) II 49 · B2an (S/S Right) (185) Obverse II 49 - Two short lines at front of Liberty's eye. Broken 4th right star. Die Markers - Diagonal scratch above bear claw. Crack from top of cap toward S in PLURIBUS. Reverse B2an - III S Mint Mark doubled as curved diagonal line in middle of upper loop opening. Long horizontal polishing line thru neck and eagle’s right wing as in VAM 1. R in Trust not broken.
