=1921-S VAM-1K Die Gouge I to Wreath= Discovered by John Kohut, January 2005. 1K IV 1 • D2a (Die Gouge I to Wreath) (189) Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around Eagle's right leg and between Eagle's left wing and body. Diagonal die gouge thru bottom of I in UNITED down to left wreath opposite U in later die stage. Scribbling scratches fade away except for those on the lower breast feathers. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 1921-S VAM-1K, 1921-S VAM-1P, 1921-S VAM-1AC & 1 VNA all have similar but different lines by the I in UNITED. # It looks a lot like the 1921-S VAM-1K is the same as the 1921-S VAM-1BN.
