=1921-S VAM-1BN Scribbling Die Scratches #24= Eliminated December 2023, Duplicate of VAM 1K 1BN IV1 • D2a (Scribbling Die Scratches #24) (189) Obverse IV1 - Very slightly doubled and tripled left stars. Reverse D2a - Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around Eagle's right leg and between Eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Double vertical die scratches in middle of upper tail feathers. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This may be an early die stage of 1921-S VAM-1K, as a late die stage of VAM 1BN, with worn dies and only the parallel scratches on the lower breast feathers, has the same die crack from the wreath to the I as is shown for VAM 1K. # It looks a lot like the 1921-S VAM-1K is the same as the 1921-S VAM-1BN.
