=1921-P VAM-3T Die Breaks 1 & Wing Tip= Discovered by Rob Joyce April 2004 3T IV 1 • D2a (Die Breaks 1 & Wing Tip, Scribbling Die Scratches #59) (189) Obverse IV 1– Die crack from base of left 1 over to rim below neck tip with displaced field. Reverse D2a– Die breaks from eagle’s right wing top up to denticles and left to top of D in UNITED. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle's left wing and body. ''Die marker'' - Double horizontal die scratch at left inside of eagle's left leg feathers. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The VAM-3T has both obverse and reverse die breaks. # An neat retained cud can be seen forming where a displaced field exists under the date. There is a die crack from the left bottom of the 1 over to the rim below the neck tip.
