=1921-P VAM-3R1 Die Break Ribbon, Scribbling Die Scratches #21= 3R1 IV 1 D2a (Die Break Ribbon, Scribbling Die Scratches #21) (189) Obverse IV 1 - Small die chip at bottom of sixth right star left point. Reverse D2a - Diagonal die crack thru middle of lower right wreath ribbon with small die chips. Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg, between eagle's left wing and body and in middle of eagle's left wing. ''Die marker'' - Short diagonal die scratch between upper two tail feathers. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # January 2008: VAM-3R is now divided into the VAM-3R1 and VAM-3R2 after discovery that VAMs 3BT1 and 3BT2 (eliminated) are actually this variety. # 2010 - VAM-3R3 Discovery.
