Obverse IV 1 - ''Die Marker'' - Polishing in TY in LIBERTY Reverse D2a - Eagle's left wing overpolished with some scribbling scratches on lower inside feathers. Small chip on top of second T in STATES on later die state. Two short parallel lines above first A in AMERICA on later die state. Scribbling scratches may be present in earlier die state. Comments: # Discovery coin is late die state. Earlier die state coins may show scribbling scratches. # Earlier die state coins may not have the lines above the A in AMERICA or the chip atop the T in STATES.
