=1921-P VAM-3AX Die Break Inside S= Discovered by George Powell, November 2006. 3AX IV 1 · D2a (Die Break Inside S) (189) Obverse IV 1– Slight doubling on some left and right stars plus lips and chin. Reverse D2a– Die cracks thru top of STATE and bottom of S O with small bean shaped die break at bottom inside of right S lower loop. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # There is a chance that this VAM has also been listed as the 1921-P VAM-3CW for scribbling scratches tailfeathers.
