=1921-P VAM-3AP Scribbling Die Scratches #132= Discovered by DHalladay, November 2020. Revised July 2012 to include scribbles. November 2020. IV 1 · D2a (Scribbling Die Scratches #132) (189) Obverse IV 1– Slight doubling on some stars. Reverse D2a– Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle's right leg, between eagle's left wing and body and in middle of both wings. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # 3AP is a revised listing by LVA. It is an earlier die state than was previously known; one that does not have a gouge in the O of OF. LVA changed the old 3AP designation to 3AP2.
