=1902-O VAM-71A 2 Olive Reverse, Near Date, Doubled Profile, Die Break N= Discovery 2012 III2 15 - C4/C3ae (2 Olive Reverse, Near Date, Doubled Profile, Die Break N) (181) Obverse III2 15 - Date in middle of near date lateral position. Reverse C4/C3ae - Radial die crack at N of UNITED that extends thru N to wreath with displaced field break below N. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # LDS of VAM-71. Radial crack at N crack extends into denticles. # This coin was at one time the VAM-78 DC. In July, 2012 the VAM-78 was de-listed as the same as VAM-71A. The VAM-78 discovery coin (imaged here) is a very late stage of the VAM-71 with several radial cracks on the reverse. The best PUP besides the radial cracks/breaks is the gouge above the first S of STATES.
