Description

Discovery December 2025, Brady Johnson 51 III2 • C4 (Privately Made) (Slanted Date, C4 Reverse) (181) Obverse III2 - Date at left side of normal position, slanted upward. Possibly copy of VAM 19 or 42. Reverse C4 - Anachronistic C4 reverse, same die used on 1893-O VAM 6 and 1900-O VAM 62. Medium O mint mark tilted slightly left. DPIS - LH3/RH4 Comments: # Discovery coin is very low grade, not permitting diagnosis of possible casting flaws or copied bag marks that that may be in obverse die. Reverse is a match for known counterfeits tied to the Micro O family through other die marriages.
