Obverse III2 20 - Straight top bar in denticle space below 1 right side is likely top of 1 to test die hardness. ''Die marker'' - Die polishing lines in Y of LIBERTY. Reverse C3a - Diagonal band of rough raised dots starting at end of 4 & 5 outer feathers of eagle's right wing and extending out into field. Total length of 0.145" and width of 0.015" Likely acid etched band combined with gouge. ''Die marker'' - Die polishing lines in wing neck gap.
