Discovered as VAM 39B 2017, pacificwr Renumbered February 2024 51 III2 30 • C3a (Doubled Ear, Slanted Date) (189) Obverse III2 30 - Ear slightly doubled at right inside and bottom outside, with earliest stages only showing slight doubling at upper right inside. Date in normal position, slanted slightly upward. Numerous die cracks form, including a crack from the L in PLURIBUS to the LIBERTY band which develops a chip at the front edge of the band on later die stages.
