Description

Discovery July 2025, Brent Fogelberg 38 III2 35 • C3f (Doubled Ear, Gouge Leg) (?) Obverse III2 35 - Date in normal position. Slight doubling on right inside of Liberty's ear, possibly mid-late die state die fatigue. ''Die Markers'' - Polishing lines at top of ER in LIBERTY, lines in lower hair. Reverse C3f - Short horizontal gouge on upper tail feathers at bottom of eagle's right leg. Small chip at inside of eagle's left wing by the intersection of the leg and body. ''Die Marker'' - Crack through tip of eagle's left wing and through the bottoms of AM in AMERICA on later die stages. DPIS - C3/B45 Comments: # Formerly referred to as "VAM 1.3" (unofficial)
