=1886-P VAM-24 Doubled Ear Lower Right Inside= Discovered by Marc Serafine January 2002. 24 III2 23 · C3a (Doubled Ear Lower Right Inside) ( ? ) Obverse III2 23 – Slightly doubled ear on lower right inside and bottom outside of ear lobe. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The doubled ear is mostly due to die fatigue, # VAM 24 characteristics are not clear, there may be at least 2 dies that have been classified as 1886-P VAM-24. # One die pair shows a die flake between the TY in LIBERTY. In early die state, it does not show doubling inside the ear.
