=1885-P VAM-18 High Dash Under 8= Discovered by Martin Field, October 1982. 18 III2 18 - C3a (High Dash Under 8) (188) Obverse III2 18 - Short dash just under and against bottom outside of second 8 lower loop. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Early die states show both the polishing lines and cotton blossom marker, MDS and LDS specimens only show the cotton blossom marker. # The reverse can easily be confused with the EDS VAM-3's with no cracks. # Comes clashed with no letter transfer possible confusion with 1885-P VAM-1K "Weak Clashed n".
