=1884-O VAM-39 Far Date, Doubled Arrows= Discovered by R. Patchin, December 1999. Revised November 2025 39 III24 · C3v (Far Date, Doubled Arrows) (181) Reverse C3v – Slight doubling on arrow feathers, shafts and heads on lower edge and some feathers between legs. II O mint mark filled almost flush. Light doubling on edges of upper middle feathers of eagle's right wing. ''Die Markers'' - Die chip between eagle's left wing and upper breast. Die chip between second and third tail feathers from right side. DPIS - LE4/RH5 ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The mint mark may be partially or completely filled. 1884-O VAM-5 also has a filled mint mark. # 1884-O VAM-32.2 also shows doubling on the arrow shafts, but not as strong as 1884-O VAM-39. Mint mark position is slightly different as well. # VAM 57 is an "Evil Mimic" of this VAM.
