Description
The PC-5c-1883-13 Cud is a cud error, a type of major die break at the rim where a piece of the die broke away, creating a raised featureless blob at the edge of the coin. This variety was discovered on the 1883 Liberty Head Nickel - No CENTS, part of the Liberty Head Nickels 1883-1912 series. Cross-referenced as Cross reference: none. This retained cud is split into two parts. The left side is #11 while the right side is #12. Cross reference: none.. Note: Obverse has a number of Die Crack “White Arrows”.
