=1881-S VAM-82 Doubled Left 8 and Phrygian Cap, S/S Right= Discovery 2019 by Walt McArthur III2 48 • C3d (Doubled Left 8 and Phrygian Cap, S/S Right) (?) Obverse III2 48 - Doubled left 8 in date with top loop at top and left inside and right surface plus top left inside of lower loop. Upper loop also has faint thin spike at left inside. Phrygian cap doubled at top edge and very slightly on right edge. ''Die marker'' - Diagonal die polishing lines in LI of LIBERTY. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # Reverse shared with 1881-S VAM-8 and 1881-S VAM-8A. VAM 82 seems to be a later die state of the reverse die.
