=1881-S VAM-56A Doubled 18 Die File Lines Obverse= Discovered January 2009 by gferencz. 56A III231 · C3a (Doubled 18 Die File Lines Obverse) (184) Obverse III231– Vertical band of die file lines from 7th left star up thru E to rim above P. A few vertical die file lines thru UM and sixth right star. Doubled 18 in date. 1 slightly doubled on bottom surface of upper crossbar. First 8 doubled on surface at top inside and lower right outside of upper loop and top inside of lower loop. Comments: # This obverse shared with 1881-S VAM-56 and 1881-S VAM-56A.
