Revised 2016 38 (revised) III2 1 · C3p (Tripled Left Wreath, Double Legend) (176) Reverse C3p – Tripled and doubled leaves in left wreath towards rim. Bottom inside of UNITED STATES O doubled towards rim. III O mint mark tilted slightly left at normal height. ''Die marker'' - Fine raised dots of die pitting on two leaves of left wreath opposite IT of UNITED. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This reverse is shared with VAM 41 and VAM 51 (obverse of 1881-O VAM-26A). # The doubling on the U and tripling on the wreath is also present on 1881-O VAM-41, 1881-O VAM-44 & 1881-O VAM-51.
