Description

Discovery May 2024, Brent Fogelberg 126 III2 74 • C3an (Doubled Date, Large S Tilted Left) (?) Obverse III2 74 - First 8 doubled on surface at upper right inside and lower outside of lower loop. 0 doubled at top left and right outside. Small bump on Liberty's lower lip, possibly remnant of polished die clash. ''Die Markers'' - Lines and pitting inside LIBERTY, around cotton bolls. Reverse C3an - Large VI S mint mark centered and tilted to the left. Slight doubling on bottoms of UNITED and outside leaves of left wreath toward rim. Die chip at outer end of 6th outer feather from bottom of eagle's left wing. Long, diagonal die scratch across right tail feathers. Comments: # may be a duplicate of vams 35 & 84
