=1880-S VAM-120 Doubled 1-80, Die break B, Double top reverse = Discovery 2021 by Brent Fogelberg. III2 71 - C3ah (Doubled 1-80, Die break B, Double top reverse) (188) Obverse III2 71 - Same obverse die as 1880-S VAM-119, but later die state with die break left side of B in LIBERTY up to wheat leaf. (Formerly 1880-S VAM-47A) Reverse C3ah - Normal IV S mint mark at normal height but set slightly to left with slight tilt to right within normal tolerance. Doubled top of eagle's head, all top of letters In God we Trust, and slightly STATES OF toward upper rim. ''Die marker'' - Die polishing lines in wing-neck gap. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 1880-S VAM-16, 1880-S VAM-120 Comments: # This reverse die is shared with 1880-S VAM-16, 1880-S VAM-16A, 1880-S VAM-120 & 1880-S VAM-104. # This exact obverse die was used to produce the 1880-S VAM-6, 1880-S VAM-120 # The deformation of the B in LIBERTY is on the VAM-120 but not the VAM-6 (at least on mine!). # 1880-S VAM-120 sports a medium S mintmark and the 1880-S VAM-6 boasts a large S mintmark.
