=1880-O VAM-68 Doubled 80 & Wreaths= Revised 2009 68 (revised) III2 31- C3p (Doubled 80 & Wreaths) (176) Obverse III2 31- Second 8 doubled slightly at lower left outside of upper loop. 0 doubled slightly at lower left inside. Reverse C3p- Earliest die state with die scratch in left leaf cluster next to wreath bow. Also has fine vertical die scratch on inner feathers of eagle's left wing. Same die as 1880-O VAM-6C, 1880-O VAM-6D, 1880-O VAM-11 & 1880-O VAM-55 without die clash marks. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 1880-O VAM-68, 1880-O VAM-55, 1880-O VAM-6D, 1880-O VAM-6C, 1880-O VAM-11, 1880-O VAM-1A Comments: # This reverse shared with 1880-O VAM-6C, 1880-O VAM-6D, 1880-O VAM-11, 1880-O VAM-11A, 1880-O VAM-55, and 1880-O VAM-68. Without die clash marks. # That VAM is a good one as it is likely the first use of the squiggle reverse die that was paired later for the 1880-O VAM-55 and then for 1880-O VAM-6D (the original 1880-O VAM-6 no doubt) and 1880-O VAM-6C.
