Description
=1878-P VAM-36 7/8 Tailfeather 7 over 4 Tailfeathers= Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, December 1965. Reverse discovered by Francis Klaes, June 1963. 36 II1 - B/Ag (4TF) (179) Obverse II2- Star 4 right is intact. 7 in date doubled slightly on right side. Normal type II obverse with no die breaks. Reverse B/Ag- Four tail feathers showing; between 2 and 3 TF and under 3, 4, and 5 TF. Design remains in leaves of branch, below branch on left, and around wreath bow. Die chips around D, W, E, and U of IN GOD WE TRUST.
