=1878-P VAM-195A Broken D= Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, December 1965. 195A II2 - B2e (Broken D) (179) Obverse II2- Diagonal line through R and top of T in Liberty. Reverse B2e- Same as reverse B2a, but with partially broken bottom of D of DOLLAR. Comments: ''Some other die markers-'' 1. Gouges in the left wing and the right wing, there are either gouges or metal globs running down the front of the ear and a big metal glob inside the bottom of the ear, there are gouges running along the inside neckline into the hair, the hair at the bottom has a lot of overpolishing with major polishing lines throughout. 2. (Same obverse used with VAM 131B and VAM 210A) 3. R in Trust not broken. 4. Different die from VAM-195. Some specimens show over polishing with last three leaves disconnected from the olive branch.
