=1878-P VAM-185B Die Scratch Thru I–R= Discovered October 2002 by Michael Fey 185B II 1 B2c (Die Scratch Thru I-R) (193) Obverse II 1 - Heavy diagonal die scratch thru lower part of I and another short one at top of R in LIBERTY. Reverse B2c - closed o ,Broken r Comments: 1. There is also a vertical spike at the eyelid similar to VAM 222C. 2. Do not confuse with VAM 186A. 3. VAM 185B is easy to locate in any circulated grade, it is scarce in AU58 to MS62, rare in MS63 or better. 4. COLLECTOR INTEREST: low
