Description

The 1792 Bust Half Disme - Regular Strike is a dime produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Bust Half Disme 1792 series. With a mintage of 1,500, this is a rare issue. The obverse features Liberty facing left with hair flowing behind and the reverse displays a small eagle within a wreath. Produced during the earliest years of the United States Mint, when the young republic was establishing its monetary system and coinage traditions.
