Description

TDC-1c-1960D(SD)-03 This 1960D small date Lincoln cent shows both obverse and reverse die clashes. The obverse clash is under the 1 digit of the date and was generated by the roof line of the Memorial building. The reverse clash mark came from the front line of Lincoln’s jacket. This die is identified by the long scratch mark seen between the B and E of LIBERTY. The reverse has a arched scratch mark under the TE of UNITED.
